Louis XIV

Also called Louis "the Great" or the "Sun King", Louis XIV was born on September 5, 1638 at the Château Neuf in Saint-Germain-en-Laye and died on September 1, 1715 at the Château de Versailles.

King of France and Navarre, he reigned from September 7, 1651 (official date) until his death.
